FUNCTIONALITY: Your phone is fully functional in the case with access to camera, flash, speaker. The skin has the mold of the volume buttons and power button - that way they are protected and you can still feel/use them. Small plugs protect your ports (charger port and headset port) from dust/debris. You call pull back those plugs when you want to access those ports. The lcd screen is also recessed deep within the case for added protection - will not touch the surface when placing your phone on a table face down.
